The competition opened on Friday December 1, 2023, and runs until Friday November 15, 2024. We're asking people to take a photo a month from December 2023 to November 2024 and email it to info@langstonevillage.org.uk. You can enter as many monthly competitions as you like.

Each month a winner and two runners-up will be selected and at the end of the competition the 12 winning photos will be published in a 2025 calendar to raise money for charity. The deadline for each monthly competition is the last day of the month, apart from November when it closes on the 15th to allow time for publication of the calendar.

We're seeking photos that capture the essence of Langstone, whether that’s through landscapes, seascapes, people, events, animals, birds, portraits etc – we want to create a month-by-month photographic chronicle of the village and its surroundings.

If we receive enough entries we will plan an exhibition of photos in the Chapel in 2025, with an associated photobook. So please get snapping! If you have any questions please email info@langstonevillage.org.uk.
