Langstone Village Association

Langstone Village Association is dedicated to the preservation, restoration and development of the quality of life in Langstone village.

The association represents the village when addressing issues such as the proposed flood defence scheme; the maintenance of the sea wall between Langstone Mill and Wade Lane; the quality of seawater in Chichester and Langstone Harbours; traffic and parking; and some planning matters.

The LVA Committee liaises with public bodies including Havant Borough Council, Hampshire County Council, Chichester Harbour Conservancy and water authorities in its mission to maintain the quality of life in the village.

It also organises many social events throughout the year, such as the spring and autumn suppers, coffee mornings, beach cleans, table top sales, and talks and music events at the Chapel in the High Street.

Langstone village is defined by all areas south of where the old railway line crossed Langstone Road, including the three Conservation Areas of Langstone Village, Mill Lane and Wade Court. Email info@langstonevillage.org to enquire about membership.
